Abdullah Al Nahid conducts interdisciplinary research combining molecular biology, multi-omic data, and machine learning in areas such as Bioinformatics, Genomics, and Transcriptomics.

Currently, he is working as a Summer Research Intern at the Mangul Lab at the University of Southern California, led by Dr. Serghei Mangul. He is also an active member of the Tidyomics Consortium, led by Dr. Michael I. Love. He completed his B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).

Besides his research and work, he is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in science. He is involved in efforts that aim to increase the representation of underrepresented groups in STEM fields. He is also a strong advocate for open science and open source software.
