Abdullah Al Nahid conducts interdisciplinary research combining genetics, multi-omic data, and machine learning in areas such as Bioinformatics and Statistical Genetics.
Currently, he is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a second-year USC Mann PhD Student at the Mancuso Lab , led by Dr. Nicholas Mancuso . Alongside his PhD, he is also a Master's student in Management of Drug Development at USC. He completed his B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
Besides his research and work, he is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in science. He is involved in efforts that aim to increase the representation of underrepresented groups in STEM fields. He is also a strong advocate for open science and open source software. He is an active member of the Tidyomics Consortium , led by Dr. Michael I. Love
